## Questions I get asked
+ Why should I invest in design?
Design is not the coat of paint you add at the end. It is how you decide what to build, for whom, and in what order. Done early it saves you months spent building the wrong thing. Done late, it can only make something prettier while it still struggles to bring numbers.
+ What does design work cost?
It depends on the scope, not on the hours. We have a free call, I understand what you need, and you get a fixed quote with clear deliverables. No open-ended budgets, no surprises halfway through, no fancy jargon designed to make you understand less of what you are reading.
+ Are results guaranteed?
Nobody honest guarantees results. What I guarantee is a method: goals we set together, small iterative steps, and data-based tests every time a decision has to be made. If something is not working we talk about it and change it right away, not at the end.
+ How long does it take to design an app?
From a few weeks for a focused MVP to several months for a full product. The honest answer arrives after the first call, when I know what you are actually trying to achieve.
+ I already have a design team. Why would I call you?
Because a team that is too close to the work often stops being able to see it. I bring an outside view, a process that scales and the uncomfortable questions nobody inside is asking, plus 14+ years of expertise across several industries and more than 200 projects.
+ What exactly is design as a service?
I temporarily join your design team and do the work that is needed: research, UX, UI, prototyping, requirements, client management. You get capacity and seniority without a permanent hire, with all the advantages that brings.
+ How does a design operations audit work?
I observe how your team actually works, not how it says it works. Then I map the friction, the wasted effort, the missed opportunities, and also the good things worth building on. Finally I hand you a prioritised action plan with practical suggestions.
+ When should I bring in a Fractional Head of Design?
When the team is good but the process is not. When quality depends on who happens to pick up the task. When you are growing faster than your way of working, and you need structures and processes that stay resilient and scale with the team.
+ Why should I do a UX/UI mentorship?
Most designers do not lack talent, they lack direction. A mentor shortens the distance between where you are and where you want to be. Be warned though: I will not tell you what you want to hear, but what you need to hear. They are often two different things.
+ How long does a mentorship last, and what does it cost?
It depends on your goal. Some people need three sessions, some need six months. First we define the goal, then the path and the price. No subscriptions you forget to cancel.
