I like design that goes unnoticed. The kind that lets you get things done without making you think someone designed it. I detest products made only to win a medal. I am curious, but decidedly pragmatic.Design is a tool that serves people and business. It gives people simple solutions, and it gives companies a faster, more solid way to reach those who really need them.More than anything, it is a way of respecting whoever is on the other side of the screen. Their time, their attention, their effort. That is why strategy and critical thinking come before pixels and aesthetics.I bring solid expertise, clear judgment and strategic direction: qualities this trade is often short of.
## The rest of me
I like learning things. Technology, nerdy curiosities, or simply how something works. I need to go deep, which is why I throw myself into projects without overthinking. And yes, I know that is not always the right call, but I always learn a lot regardless of the outcome.I love cooking, it relaxes me. Italian, but foreign too: new colours, new flavours, different pairings and cooking methods. It is my way of bringing design into the kitchen.I build things with my hands. Manual work is what I miss after a week tied to a cable. I like EDM, slightly sparkling red wine, Italian Christmas comedies and village festivals. I could not live too far from the sea.I travel to countries with street food and plenty of nature, the flip-flops and backpack kind of places. I am terrified of the deep blue, and of diving into open sea without knowing what is below. So I took up scuba diving to beat a fear. Maybe.I am Enea's dad, Mila's bone thrower, Bernadette's husband. It is a wonderful adventure 🦑
